Styled with Intention: Furniture, Art, and Lighting in Harmony
Bringing a design vision to life requires a thoughtful balance of elements. I styled for Lancaster Custom Upholstery to showcase their furniture collection. Every detail, from the lighting and accessories to the art, was intentionally selected to complement the pieces and tell a cohesive story.

Local Art That Tells a Story
For this project, we collaborated with Jon Rollins, whose abstract works added texture and depth to the spaces. His use of neutral tones and layered details perfectly complemented the furniture’s clean lines. The luxurious finishes added just the right touch without taking away from the furniture. Incorporating local art not only elevated the visuals but also brought a unique, authentic touch that resonated with the collection’s aesthetic.
Thoughtful Lighting
Lighting was key to enhancing the mood of each shot. We thoughtfully selected Visual Comfort & Co. that balanced warmth and sophistication, seamlessly tying the spaces together. Their designs illuminated the furniture beautifully without competing for attention.
The Experience
From planning and sourcing to on-location styling, my goal is always to create a seamless, efficient process for clients. For this shoot, I ensured that every prop and detail worked in harmony with the furniture, while collaborating closely with the client and photographer to capture the collection’s best angles.
The Result
The finished photos showcase inviting, polished spaces that tell a story of craftsmanship, style, and functionality. Each element works together to highlight the furniture’s versatility while creating aspirational, livable settings.
Styling for photoshoots is about more than aesthetics—it’s about creating a visual narrative. If you’re a manufacturer or designer looking for expert styling that elevates your brand, I’d love to collaborate.
