Styling the South Beach, Ritz Carlton

Photography by : Don Riddle and Florals by: Ines Naftali

To my delight, I was asked to style the photo shoot for the recently remodeled The Ritz Carlton Miami. The existing mid-century modern building in the South Beach Miami area underwent a major renovation in 2020. This shoot, highlighting the design work of Meg Sharpe Interiors, was a collaborative effort with photographer Don Riddle and florist Ines Naftali.

The production was focused on emphasizing the new interiors for the Ritz Carlton Miami website as well as a grand re-opening marketing campaign. Initially, the team worked together to capture all the spaces in the hotel lobby, restaurants, ballroom, meeting rooms and the pool, interior and exterior. Next, we concentrated on the different accommodations available for guests.

I planned and shopped for the detail accessories prior to the shoot. My team and I implemented the details and executed the soft goods styling throughout the shoot. We find it crucial to execute thorough prep prior to the shoot. Thus, making the process go smoother throughout the day. In return, it is easier to execute, establish placement of the furniture and accessories to accommodate each specific camera angle.

The excitement was electric in preparation for the hotel’s grand re-opening. I really enjoyed meeting the staff and working with the Ritz Carlton South beach team. Feel free to reach out to learn more on how I can style a photo shoot for your Grand Opening or marketing campaign.
